Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Cypress and Playwright.
- Lead the strategy for CI/CD integration, ensuring automated regression tests are executed seamlessly within our deployment pipelines.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production defects to improve system architecture and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with developers to establish comprehensive test plans that cover edge cases and performance benchmarks.
- Mentor junior QA staff and advocate for testing best practices across the engineering department.
- Perform security and load testing to identify bottlenecks and vulnerabilities in microservices architecture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically within a SaaS or fintech environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven track record of building scalable testing frameworks from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (k6, JMeter).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
