Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies across various platforms and environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolution.
- Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment and post-release validation.
- Lead efforts in implementing and continuously improving QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure alignment on quality goals and product requirements.
- Perform performance, load, security, and usability testing as needed to ensure holistic product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Demonstrated expertise with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of API testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured).
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing principles is a plus.
