Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, performance, security, and usability testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate regression testing cycles
- Execute exploratory testing techniques to identify edge cases and user experience gaps
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test cases and defect reports
- Analyze testing metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Validate API integrations using Postman and JMeter for microservice architectures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with focus on SaaS or fintech applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems (TestRail)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and systematic approach
