Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Develop automated testing scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate validation cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring rigorous tracking and resolution workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and validate product features
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and development efficiency
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tooling infrastructure
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test coverage and documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance with proven expertise in manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python)
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes
- Expertise in defect tracking systems (JIRA, TestRail) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify edge cases and complex system interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
