Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback loops
- Execute manual and automated tests across web and mobile platforms while documenting results
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into testable scenarios
- Drive defect prevention through root cause analysis and process optimization
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
- Implement test metrics and reporting for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with proven track record in agile environments
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools like Postman
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools
