Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for complex web/mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated testing (API, UI, performance, security) across full SDLC
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA while maintaining 99.9% test coverage metrics
- Champion quality initiatives through CI/CD pipeline integration and test-driven development
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct peer code reviews for test automation
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Analyze test results to drive actionable insights for product enhancement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS products and agile methodologies
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent QA methodology training
- Proven track record of implementing test automation strategies reducing manual effort by 60%
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
