Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing for cloud-native applications
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to achieve 80%+ test coverage across web and mobile platforms
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing and quality gate monitoring
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and drive systemic improvements in development lifecycle
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation and metrics
- Champion quality initiatives through requirements reviews and test-driven development advocacy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, and JavaScript/TypeScript test frameworks
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and Postman for API testing
- Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Certified Tester (CTFL) or equivalent QA certification preferred
