Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define testing requirements early in the SDLC.
- Execute complex integration and end-to-end testing scenarios in high-scale environments.
- Lead root cause analysis for production defects and implement preventative measures.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and test strategy.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, high-quality deployments.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Expertise in SQL and database verification techniques.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
