Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and QA strategies for cloud-based SaaS products
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit to achieve 90%+ test coverage
- Execute manual and regression testing across web, mobile, and API layers
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with precise severity classifications
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and shift-left testing
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive quality process improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience in agile environments with SaaS products
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking systems and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Proficient in SQL and API testing (REST/SOAP)
- Certified QA Professional (CQA) or ISTQB certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
