Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing, integration testing, and regression suites for cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define clear acceptance criteria and edge cases.
- Mentor junior QA staff and foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
- Lead the transition from manual testing processes to fully automated, high-velocity CI/CD cycles.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and implement preventative measures.
- Manage defect tracking systems and provide actionable metrics to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software QA automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern language: Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database testing (SQL).
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent professional credential is a significant plus.
