Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex microservices architecture.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead root cause analysis for production defects and implement preventative measures.
- Conduct thorough API and load testing to ensure high availability and performance.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD best practices across the engineering department.
- Mentor junior QA staff to elevate team technical standards and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical debt to stakeholders.
