Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for complex distributed systems.
- Lead the transition from manual testing to robust automated CI/CD integrated pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution with engineering teams.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents to prevent regression.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define acceptance criteria for new features.
- Mentor junior QA staff on best practices for performance and scalability testing.
- Optimize automated testing suites to reduce feedback loops and increase coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically within SaaS environments.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of working within Scrum or Kanban agile frameworks.
