Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Execute complex end-to-end testing, performance testing, and integration testing across cloud-based architectures.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring comprehensive resolution within Jira.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the deployment lifecycle.
- Mentor junior QA staff and advocate for best practices in test-driven development (TDD) across the engineering organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a related engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven track record of designing and executing test plans for distributed, microservices-based architectures.
- Deep understanding of web technologies, API testing (REST/GraphQL), and database querying (SQL).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
