Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi to automate provisioning.
- Lead migration projects from legacy environments to containerized microservices architectures.
- Design robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and code quality.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud governance and cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Strong fluency in Python, Go, or Ruby for infrastructure scripting.
- Deep understanding of networking, distributed systems, and security protocols (IAM, TLS, VPC).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, production-grade cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
