Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust end-to-end automated test suites using Cypress or Playwright.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define comprehensive test plans for new features.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents to prevent regression.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and testing frameworks.
- Integrate automated quality gates within our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
- Lead exploratory testing sessions to uncover complex edge cases.
- Manage defect tracking, reporting, and lifecycle through Jira.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or SDET roles.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven track record of designing test automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and release management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
