Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable automated test frameworks from scratch.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for complex web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of defects and suggest performance optimizations.
- Lead QA efforts for new feature releases through the entire SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA staff on best practices in testing methodologies and automation coding standards.
- Analyze production logs to troubleshoot issues and improve system observability.
- Advocate for quality-first development processes within Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Strong background in database testing (SQL/NoSQL) and data validation.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
