Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Cypress for web and mobile applications
- Execute comprehensive test plans including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Conduct risk-based testing strategies to prioritize critical test scenarios
- Collaborate with developers to implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDA, and ISO 13485 regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience in regulated industries (healthcare, medical devices, or fintech preferred)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL database validation
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and defect management systems
