Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations with Jira and Jenkins for real-time defect tracking
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality-focused development practices
- Validate compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOC 2 standards
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and at least one scripting language
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with mobile (iOS/Android) and web application testing
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable test scenarios
