Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear, concise acceptance criteria.
- Lead the transition from manual regression testing to a fully automated CI/CD integrated pipeline.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication across engineering squads.
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote best practices in quality engineering and testing methodologies.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues to prevent future regressions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal testing tools and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test script development.
- Deep expertise with industry-standard frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development cycles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for edge cases and usability concerns.
