Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define comprehensive test plans and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues and implement long-term preventative measures.
- Manage the execution of regression suites within our CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless releases.
- Lead QA initiatives, including performance testing, security scanning, and accessibility audits.
- Mentor junior team members on industry best practices and testing methodologies.
- Continuously optimize the balance between automated and manual testing strategies to maximize coverage.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering in Test (SET).
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Strong experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of identifying complex system defects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
