Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright for web/mobile applications
- Execute exploratory testing and root cause analysis to identify critical defects
- Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Maintain and optimize test suites for maximum coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with proven track record in automation
- Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Certification in QA methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
