Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools to accelerate testing cycles
- Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define quality metrics and defect prioritization strategies
- Document test cases, defects, and quality reports using JIRA and TestRail
- Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with SaaS or enterprise software products
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test script development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios
- ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred
