Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect management in JIRA, ensuring clear tracking and resolution prioritization
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define quality metrics and acceptance criteria
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and implement preventive measures
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, test cases, and QA processes
- Stay current with industry testing trends and emerging QA technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA methodologies and tools
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages
- Proven experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
