Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Lead QA initiatives for cloud-based SaaS applications across web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Document defects with detailed steps, expected results, and severity levels in JIRA
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices in quality assurance
- Analyze test data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with hands-on coding in Python/Java
- Expertise in testing methodologies for RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Proven experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD integration
- Certification in ISTQB or similar quality assurance framework preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Experience mentoring QA teams and driving quality culture initiatives
