Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolution
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and propose preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Generate comprehensive test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with demonstrated expertise in test automation
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java) and testing tools (Selenium, Postman)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred
