Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Lead API testing initiatives with Postman and JMeter for RESTful and GraphQL services
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting
- Perform root cause analysis for critical defects and drive corrective actions
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality documentation standards
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with SaaS or enterprise software
- Expert proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and programming languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP, Burp Suite)
- Proven track record of reducing production defects by 40%+ through strategic QA initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks preferred
