Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
- Lead end-to-end testing cycles including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA while driving resolution with development teams
- Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to quantify product excellence
- Mentor QA team members and champion continuous improvement in testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality gates and release criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with proven expertise in Agile/Scrum environments
- Advanced knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) and scripting languages
- Strong background in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
