Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects with precise severity metrics
- Implement continuous quality improvement strategies through data-driven analysis of test metrics
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation and reporting
- Drive quality initiatives in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring sprint deliverables exceed quality thresholds
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical bugs and propose preventive measures
- Champion quality culture through regular process audits and optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with proven expertise in web and mobile application testing
- Advanced proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to design test cases covering complex business logic and edge scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
