Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality-first development practices
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
- Analyze test data to identify trends and drive quality improvements
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS applications and agile methodologies
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent quality assurance certification
- Demonstrated success in implementing continuous testing strategies
