Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium to accelerate testing cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA while driving root cause analysis
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines with embedded quality gates
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices across the organization
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders to validate requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing roles within Agile/Scrum environments
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Postman, JMeter)
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript for test script development
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Deep understanding of API testing, database testing (SQL), and performance testing
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test cases
