Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Lead end-to-end testing cycles for complex web and mobile applications, ensuring 99.9% defect-free releases
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and execution strategies for agile and waterfall projects
- Execute manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web, APIs)
- Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of defects and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing integration
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics to guide product quality decisions
- Champion quality best practices and mentor junior QA engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with proven track record in test automation
- Expert knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, and modern testing frameworks
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with API testing (REST, SOAP) using Postman or similar tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into actionable test scenarios
