Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-standard CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and drive quality improvements
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality gates and release criteria
- Champion continuous integration and deployment excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and performance testing
- Certified in Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
