Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to enhance test coverage by 40%+
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations for continuous testing and deployment validation
- Document test cases, defects, and quality metrics using JIRA/TestRail
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and drive preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality gates and release criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation techniques
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology training
- Experience mentoring QA engineers and leading testing initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
