Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture for high-throughput SaaS applications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and cloud infrastructure scaling (AWS/GCP)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Drive security best practices and conduct rigorous code vulnerability assessments
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent Nexus at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud-native development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with proven large-scale production deployments
- Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker) and service meshes
- Strong background in event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
