- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define clear, actionable acceptance criteria.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts for critical production defects and drive resolution.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate seamless testing into our release cycle.
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve user experience.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for testing best practices across the engineering department.
- Optimize testing infrastructure to reduce execution time and increase coverage.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a related engineering role.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Deep understanding of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress automation tools.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams.
- Solid grasp of API testing and backend automation using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
