Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate testing cycles
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation in JIRA/Confluence
- Execute exploratory testing and root cause analysis of complex defects
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish continuous improvement workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate CI/CD pipelines with quality gates
- Analyze test metrics and report quality metrics to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS/Web applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
