Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for complex distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead root cause analysis and defect tracking efforts throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance release velocity.
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing to identify edge cases and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior QA staff on testing best practices and modern automation frameworks.
- Contribute to the refinement of quality standards and internal testing documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related development role.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud-based microservices architecture.
