Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Champion quality metrics through JIRA dashboards and CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
- Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing workshops
- Evaluate and integrate emerging testing tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS environments
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong proficiency in SQL, API testing (Postman), and performance testing (JMeter)
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile certification
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Proven track record of improving defect detection by 40%+
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
