Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear acceptance criteria and edge-case scenarios.
- Identify, track, and advocate for the resolution of software defects while ensuring root cause analysis is performed.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality-first development practices.
- Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for faster, high-quality releases.
- Analyze production logs and user feedback to proactively improve system stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Expertise in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency with modern testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with rapid delivery cycles.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
