Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Postman
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and execution strategies covering functional, performance, and security testing
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and prioritization
- Perform exploratory testing and regression analysis on complex cloud-native applications
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor QA engineers and establish quality metrics for continuous improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in API testing (REST/SOAP) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing methodologies
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA qualification preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and test-driven development
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools and test management systems
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
