Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD tools
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring comprehensive documentation and resolution tracking
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Conduct exploratory testing and root cause analysis for complex system integrations
- Mentor QA team members on testing methodologies and emerging QA technologies
- Generate comprehensive test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with proven expertise in test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java) and SQL for test script development
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC processes
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodologies preferred
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test cases and scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
