Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks from scratch.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear, concise acceptance criteria.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative testing strategies.
- Perform comprehensive integration, regression, and performance testing for microservices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, automation architecture, and testing methodologies.
- Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid deployment without sacrificing quality.
- Conduct regular code reviews of automation scripts to ensure high standards of maintainability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Proven experience with modern testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Solid experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in database testing (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
