Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web and API services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product squads to define comprehensive test strategies from the design phase.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents to prevent recurrence.
- Lead QA initiatives, including performance testing, security audits, and regression cycle optimization.
- Mentor junior QA staff and foster a culture of quality-first development across the engineering team.
- Manage the continuous integration (CI) pipelines to ensure seamless deployment cycles.
- Advocate for user-centric testing methodologies within an Agile Scrum environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in automated software testing.
- Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Extensive experience with testing tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Strong background in RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders.
