Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear, concise acceptance criteria.
- Lead manual and automated testing cycles for complex multi-tier microservice architectures.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and testing methodologies.
- Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release velocity without sacrificing quality.
- Document quality standards and advocate for a 'Quality First' engineering culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
