We are seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our automated testing initiatives. You will work alongside elite developers to influence the product roadmap from the design phase, ensuring that 'quality' is an architectural pillar rather than an afterthought.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering squads to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead the execution of regression, integration, and end-to-end performance testing suites.
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations to support rapid, high-frequency deployment cycles.
- Conduct thorough root-cause analysis for production defects and spearhead preventative measures.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code review processes, and automation strategy.
- Participate in architectural design reviews to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related engineering role.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test automation scripting.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to testing.
