Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and Rally, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality gates and acceptance criteria
- Conduct exploratory testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for complex fintech applications
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process enhancements
- Maintain and improve QA documentation including test cases, checklists, and runbooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS or fintech environments with proven track record
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and mobile testing
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent quality assurance credentials preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
