Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive automated test suites for complex distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead the transition from manual regression testing to a 90% automated CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and drive resolution.
- Mentor junior QA staff and foster a culture of quality across the entire engineering department.
- Implement performance and load testing frameworks to ensure system scalability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for web automation.
- Proven experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong background in API testing and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical debt and risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
