Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect tracking and root cause analysis using JIRA and Confluence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Document test procedures and maintain QA documentation library
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Conduct risk assessments and provide quality recommendations for product releases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expert proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent industry credential
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience mentoring QA teams and implementing QA processes
