Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, and security requirements
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and custom frameworks to accelerate testing cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA while driving root cause analysis
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for continuous testing
- Analyze product metrics to identify quality trends and improvement opportunities
- Validate user acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in automation testing roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proficiency in SQL, Linux, and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
