Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, security, and accessibility requirements
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI for continuous testing integration
- Champion defect prevention through root cause analysis and process optimization
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Conduct risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts based on business impact
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in financial technology or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test management platforms (JIRA, TestRail)
- Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and defect tracking workflows
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
